Our Board of Trustees kicked-off our district's "Recognized" rating celebration by honoring schools that earned an "Exemplary" or "Recognized" rating by the Texas Education Agency at the Sept. 25 Hawk football game. At the game, Hebron High School , Castle Hills, Coyote Ridge, Hebron Valley , Hicks and Homestead Elementary Schools received a blue "Exemplary" flag. Indian Creek and Polser Elementary Schools ; Arbor Creek, Creek Valley and Killian Middle Schools received a red "Recognized" flag.
For the next few weeks, schools are invited to attend a pre-game or half-time ceremony where each principal will receive an "Exemplary" or "Recognized" flag to fly beneath the national and state flags.

EXEMPLARY: Marcus High School ; Briarhill and Downing Middle Schools ; Bridlewood, Flower Mound, Heritage, Highland Village , McAuliffe and Prairie Trail Elementary Schools
RECOGNIZED: Lamar Middle School and Timber Creek Elementary School
Flower Mound High School Football Game - Oct. 23
EXEMPLARY: Flower Mound High School; Forestwood, McKamy and Shadow Ridge Middle Schools; Bluebonnet, Donald, Forest Vista, Garden Ridge, Liberty, Old Settlers and Wellington Elementary Schools
Lewisville High School Football Game - Nov. 6
